This waiver gives permission for the use of name, images, pictures, and recordings of my child (stated previously) by the Indianapolis Children's Choir without compensation except as may be agreed in advance for certain projects, this permission being a waiver as to all choir functions regardless of payment or other benefits to the choir.
In the unlikely event that my child becomes ill or is injured, and I cannot be immediately contacted at the time of an emergency, and if in the judgement of the staff of the Indianapolis Children's Choir immediate observation or treatment is necessary, I authorize and direct the staff to send my child (properly accompanied) to the hospital or physician most easily accessible. I also give permission for dispensing of over the counter medicines (i.e. Tylenol, Tums, Ibuprofen, etc.) as deemed necessary by the ICC staff or the designated medical personnel. I release the Indianapolis Children's Choir, their employees, and agents from any claim of liability in connection therewith.
"ICC is a fabulous organization of which to be a part, but it is only this fabulous because of all the wonderful parent volunteers who support the directors, staff members, and most importantly the singers. This year we are asking that all ICC families volunteer 2 hours of time over the course of the entire season (August to June). There are several ways to volunteer and use your talents and gifts. Please take the time to read through these opportunities and then check the boxes below for the volunteer positions that interest you most."

Volunteer Opportunities
Choir Coordinator: Each choir has a choir coordinator. This person is responsible for taking attendance at rehearsals and performances, collecting pre-arranged absence forms and make up forms, updating directors and singers on attendance and what needs to be made up.
Performance Coordinator: Each choir has a performance coordinator. This person(s) is responsible for arranging for chaperones at all performances and communicating with chaperones at the performance. S/he also helps singers make sure their uniforms meet ICC standards and that they look their best. They work with the director on getting kids on and off the stage as well.
Contributions Liaison: This person serves as the choir’s link to the development activities of the ICC by helping to identify possible corporate sponsors and other donors. If you are willing to use your knowledge of and connections to businesses and charitable individuals to create initial contact, this role is right for you. The ICC staff will work closely with you to guide you in your efforts.
Choir Parent: Each choir also has a choir parent. This person will be the assistant or back-up to the Choir Coordinator, handout and collect the fundraising forms and items, collect items for the Big Fun Event basket, and handle miscellaneous forms the kids will turn in.
Dessert Party Coordinator: Each year the ICCPA provides a dessert party to each choir. The goal is to do this in the first semester so that the singers can begin to socialize and get to know each other. The coordinator would work on setting a date with the director and then coordinate with an ICCPA board member to get the snacks. The coordinator would be at the party helping the kids get their snack and enjoy each other's company.
Chaperone: One of our biggest needs is for parents to chaperone kids during concerts. You will receive training from our training coordinator. You would help get singers to their designated areas during concerts, help them feel ready to give their best performance because they are looking good in their uniform, and then just be around the stage to help those who start to feel ill or faint.
Choral Festival Volunteers: These volunteers help during the choral festival with passing out snacks and helping the campers mingle with each other and have a good time. There are morning slots and afternoon slots as well.
Stock Performance Bags: Each choir gets a performance bag loaded with things they may need (fingernail polish remover, pantyhose, ties, Band-Aids, bobby pins, etc). At the beginning of the year these bags are all put together. This is something that can be done while your child is at rehearsal.
Help with Flower Sales: Another fundraiser for the ICCPA is our flower sales. We sell flowers at all the major concerts. The volunteers would wrap and sell the flowers before and after the concerts with the assistance of an ICCPA board member.
Help with Logo Wear Sales: One of the biggest fundraisers for the ICCPA is our logo sales. We sell at three different concerts - Celebrate the Season/Angels Sing, Spring Celebration, and Choral Festival. We can use volunteers before and after the concerts to help board members sell the logo wear.
Graduation Volunteers: Every year ICC and the High School divisions have graduation ceremonies for those singers moving to the next level. Volunteers are needed to help greet singers and their families, decorate tables, help tear down when it is done, and many other areas during this event.
Office Helpers: Assist the ICC staff with answering phones, making copies, sorting fundraising items, and other miscellaneous office duties.
Ad Hoc Volunteers: There are always times that volunteers are needed, so it is good just to have a group of people willing to do whatever is needed. This could be helping with the Ice Skating party, dessert parties, end of the year choir parties, etc.
